There was a massive increase than expected with a staggering 25% in March from the previous month.
Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board spokesperson, Doug Harbach mentioned that the Keystone State is amongst the few that are offering real money online gambling games. However, it is believed that the board was very ecstatic that the Governor will not go ahead and shut down online gaming platforms.
Harbach said, “Our online gaming operations have continued to operate through the shutdown, and keep the tax revenue rolling in.”
He went on to add that, “It’s been bringing in new players every day, so we are all very excited about that.”
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board managed to carry out data that indicated that the State managed to secure more than $57 million in revenues. This the amount that has been generated for the past 3 months. And with all the financial nosedive that the state is dealing with, it is actually soothing to have cashflow coming in every month from online gambling.
