Sportsbooks that are well-known for their online sports betting operations are expanding into the online casino market.

The most recent such agreement came on Monday when FanDuel and Boyd Gaming Corp. announced that they would begin online casino operations using a well-known gambling brand from the past.

In New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the companies intend to launch Stardust-themed online casinos later this year, pending regulatory approval in both states.

Boyd’s Stardust will rebrand FanDuel’s current Betfair Casino in New Jersey. At the same time, a Stardust online casino will be operating in Pennsylvania.

A single Stardust Casino app will be open

“For nearly 50 years, the Stardust was one of the most famous casinos on the Las Vegas Strip,” said Keith Smith, president of Boyd Gaming. “And while the resort has been gone for more than a decade, the Stardust brand is still as well-known and popular as ever.”

Many of the games that were previously available via Betfair will be available under the new name.

The step was the latest among well-known online sportsbooks to reach the online casino market. Which had been rapidly expanding even before the coronavirus pandemic. Customers who were unable to visit a casino in person increased their online winnings as a result of the pandemic.

DraftKings has online casinos in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Michigan, according to the American Gaming Association; William Hill has an online casino in Michigan, and PointsBet has plans for online casinos in New Jersey and Michigan.

Conclusion

Real money sports gamblers must make sure that they consider signing up at a reliable gambling site. That will enable them to have an amazing gaming experience. The bonuses and other perks will surely make your gaming smooth-sailing. And for that and other reasons, that’s why more sportsbooks are coming along to grace the gambling space. All this in a bid to make online players win real money online.
